When the Digital Millennium Copyright Act passed back in 1998, the internet was very different place. When they wrote it i dot think they where expecting it to turn into this huge media outlet, like how it is today. The speeds of the internet has change a lot since then as well. Making that content faster and more readily available to the public. Back then they did not have website services like Vimeo and Youtube where anyone can join and host their own videos, copyrighted or not. Also when the created it they didn't have have torrents. For though's of you who are not familiar with a torrent. A torrent is a peer-to-peer file sharing protocol used to share files over the internet. This invention completely switched up the game on how we share media. More content and media is available to you on the internet then you could ever possibly imagine. Search engines just make it easier to find these things.

The internet is shifting with all of these new Web 2.0 technologies. Its more about sharing things if anything else. Its progressively getting easier for the average user to find things that he/she is interested in.

Assignment 10

Just suppose to customize and add rss feeds using google reader.
Google is so awesome. If you really know how to use it, it makes the internets twice as cool.

Second Life

Here is my house in Second Life. I had to create a virtual enviroment in Second Life for my Web 2.o class. Its been a long while since i last used SL. I decided to make my self a cabin down by the river. Wanted to make it look like Colorado. I think i did a pretty good job. Here are some pictures of my house.
